Easley High School golfers Anna Grace Owens and Bella Morgan represented the Green Wave today at the AAAA Upper State Girls Golf Championship in Chester, South Carolina.

Senior Anna Grace Owens delivered her best tournament performance of the season, shooting an 88. Although she fell just short of qualifying for the State Championship, she capped off a great senior season.

Bella Morgan had an eventful front nine but made the turn and went on to make nine consecutive pars on the back nine, shooting even par over her final nine holes to earn a spot in a playoff with Gracie Roberts from Greer.

With a trip to the State Championship on the line, Morgan won the first playoff hole with a par, securing her place in next week’s tournament.

Morgan will represent Easley High School at the AAAA Girls Golf State Championship, held next Monday and Tuesday at The Hackler Course at Coastal Carolina University.

Congratulations to Anna Grace on an outstanding senior season, and best of luck to Bella as she represents the Easley Green Wave at State!
