Congratulations to the members of the girls varsity cross country team on their 2nd place finish this weekend. The girls were led by Joby White, Kara Cisco, Kyra Archer, Maddy Caples, Hadley Gerhardt, and Grace Russell. Joby White was the individual winner and Kara Cisco and Kyra Archer finished 2nd and 3rd overall. The following girls had a personal best: Kara Cisco, Kyra Archer, Hadley Gerhardt, Jayden Melo-Tellez, Clara Patterson, and Kaitlyn Arteaga.

Kara Cisco has now moved into #10 All-Time at Easley and Kyra Archer has moved into #11 All-Time at Easley. The girls team is currently ranked #5 in 5A Division 2.

Congratulations to the members of the boys varsity cross country team on their 1st place finish this weekend. The boys were led by Zach Cisco, Ethan Mackey, Lucas Miller, Julius Adams, Grayson Spinks, Gabe Honea, and closely followed by Ian Menendez and Carter Wells. The following athletes ran a personal best: Zach Cisco, Lucas Miller, Gabe Honea, Carter Wells, Caleb Freeze, Marco Monzon, Aiden Wallace and Eli Galloway

The boys team is currently ranked #12 in 5A Division 2.

Gettys Athletes in Action:
The following girls had a personal best: Ansley McCarson, River Parrish and Brenn Bailey. These girls had a season best: Maddison Alexander and Madi Harriot

The following athletes ran a personal best: Angel Irvin, Grant Rogers, Jaxon Reed, Ben Crews, Keegan Brissey and Issac Palomo

Angel Irvin has moved up to the #3 7th grade Boy in ALL of 5A division 2 and is currently #16 overall in SC for 7th graders.
Grant Rogers moved up to the #8 7th grade Boy in ALL of 5A division 2
Also making moves into the Top 30 in SC for 7th graders were Connor Chisom, Kyler Solomon, and Jaxon Reed.

The teams will compete again next Thursday at the Easley Green Wave Invitational.
