Congratulations to the members of the girls Track & Field team on their 6th place finish out of 28 teams at the Electric City Invitational at Anderson University this weekend. The girls team was led by Acie Vincent who had a 3rd place finish in the 1600 and a 4th place finish in the 3200. The 4x400 relay team finished 5th and was led by Abbe Starnes, Taylor Williams, Emerson Guarino, and Joby White. The 4x800 team finished 4th and was led by Hadley Gerhardt, Kara Cisco, Kyra Archer, and Joby White. Aamari Kelly finished 6th in the long and triple jump. Aubryn Salley medaled in the pole vault and finished 3rd. Emerson Guarino just missed breaking her school record in the 400 Hurdles
The following girls had a Personal Best: Ansley Whitfield, Kara Cisco, Grace Russell, Kyra Archer

Congratulations to the members of the boys Track & field team on their 14th place finish. The boys were led by Julius Adams. He won 1st place in both the 110 and 400 Hurdles. The 4x800 team finished 6th and were led by Grayson Spinks, Zach Cisco, Ethan Mackey, and Lucas Miller. Reese Brown finished 6th in the High Jump. Evan Massey medaled in the javelin finishing 3rd place for the Green Wave.
The following boys had a Personal Best: Kaydence Williams, Deviro Brown, Caleb Freeze, Sawyer Holden, and Zach Kajdi

The athletes will compete again at Daniel HS this Thursday for the Pickens County Championship
