Tri-County Championship results

Congratulations to the members of the girls Track team on their 3rd place finish at the Tri County Championships. The team was led by Aamari Kelly. She had a 1st place finish in the Long Jump, 4th place in the Triple Jump, and a 4th place finish in the 100. Other event winners included Aubryn Salley in the Pole Vault. Eighth grader Brooklyn Nova in the 200. Acie Vincent in the 1600. Other top performers in their events were: Quinn Miller, Kara Cisco, Kyra Archer, Joslyn Davenport, Emerson Whitten, Jovy Landreth, and Emerson Guarino. Emerson broke her own school record in the 400 Hurdles.

Congratulations to the members of the boys Track team on their 9th place finish. The boys team was led by Evan Massey. He was the individual winner in the javelin and set a Tri County meet record. Top performers for the boys team was: Zytavious Smith, Lucas Miller, Ethan Mackey, Reese Brown, and Levi Dunham.

Congratulations to the members of the JV girls team on their 6th place finish. Hadley Gerhardt was the individual winner in the 800. The 4x800 team of Hadley Gerhardt, Ella Johnson, Jayden Melo Tellez, and Madison Alexander were 2nd. Top performers for the girls included: Molly Sanders, AnnaKate Sanders, and Abigail Simmons'

Congratulations to the members of the JV Boys team on their 5th place finish. Top performers for the boys were: Zytavious Smith, Josiah McMahan, Caleb Freeze, Luca Tucker, Brady Bailey, Gabe Honea, Parker Ledford, Case Bracken, Thomas Hawkins, and Sawyer Holden

Gettys Athletes in Action:
Congratulations to the members of the girls track and field team. The varsity girls finished 3rd overall out of 15 teams and the JV girls were 6th at the Tri-County Championships. The girls team was led by Brooklyn Nova. She was the 200m Varsity Tri County Champion and helped lead the 4x100 team to a 4th place finish. She also finished 8th in the long jump. The following girls had personal bests at the meet: Lyric Sullivan, Zariah Gantt, AnnaKate Dossett, Brenn Bailey, Madilyn Harriot, Ansley McCarson, and Madison Alexander, and Ayda Brown

Congratulations to the members of the boys track and field team. The varsity boys finished 9th and the JV boys were 5th. The following boys had personal bests: Deviro Brown, Ja'Braylen Hammond, Josiah Barksdale, Kahlin Shields, Jaxon Reed, Anthony Romero, Parker Duncan, Ian Mosley, Cole Emerson, Issac Palomo, Bronson Bell, and Connor Chisom.
